René is the sole proprietor of MoonLake Digital Productions working in multi-media formats to help you realize your vision.
A classically-trained actor from Ryerson Theatre School, technical theatre training from Guelph University, René has also gained a practical background in digital film and audio production. He currently teaches acting, digital film production, and stagecraft at a local high school and holds a master degree in Education Technology, specializing in theatre and digital film & TV production
Digital video and audio production demands not only a solid grounding in a technical skill set that creates a clear, well-lit and artistically-composed image with good-quality sound, but also a keen awareness of how the moving image can be manipulated and edited to tell a compelling story.
As a full-time high school teacher, the learning of these fundamentals is a constant area of focus. Understanding the client and the target audience is paramount to communicating theme in meaningful and successful ways.
